Gifting: Tina's List
‘Tis the season! And with that, my wishlist is starting to grow. Here are just a few of my favorite things:
This is the ultimate in luxury. The baby alpaca fabric feels like a bouncy cloud. And the fringe detail adds an element of sophistication to an otherwise minimal piece. Dave just got the fireplace up and running so this will be the perfect accompaniment to my fireside lounging.
MARTINIANO BOOTIE IN CHOCOLATE
I am obsessed with the richness of this beautiful shade of brown. It’s a great alternative to your basic black shoe. And it pairs nicely with everything, from subdued neutrals to bold jewel tones. This shoe is a must-have for me.
HILMA AF KLINT: THE BLUE BOOKS
What a wonderful documentation of some of Hilma af Klint’s most renowned work - The Paintings for the Temple. Each miniature watercolor is a little treasure in and of itself. This will make a great addition to our burgeoning collection of art books.
NUR CERAMICS NAAMA RITUAL BOWL
We’re planning out a major kitchen renovation for next spring, and this will make a great addition to our open shelves. Dina’s work is both modern and earthy. And this particular bowl is food safe - form and function!
OYSTER RIVER JOINERY 12 WELL WALNUT OYSTER PLATTER
Paul Sampson creates these gorgeous platters in his studio in Maine. The hand-made characteristics of each piece and natural variations of the wood make this something to be treasured for years to come.
